Two separate organizations stand behind this program. ISPAD certifies the curriculum. The Egyptian Association of Continuing Medical Education Development certifies the program and provides its CMEP credit points.
ISPAD Certified
The program curriculum is certified by ISPAD, the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes. Participants who complete the program receive an ISPAD-recognized certificate.
ISPAD provides curriculum certification only, it does not issue the CMEP credit points.
EACMED Certified
The program is certified by the Egyptian Association of Continuing Medical Education Development (EACMED), the body that approves its continuing medical education credit.
The 20.75 CMEP approved credit points come from the Egyptian Association of Continuing Medical Education Development.
20.75 CMEP Approved Credit Points
Provided by the Egyptian Association of Continuing Medical Education Development (EACMED): not by ISPAD. Completing the program earns 20.75 approved CMEP credit points under EACMED’s certification.
Diabetes Educators Only
This registration is open exclusively to diabetes educators. Seats are limited, and eligibility is confirmed against the participant selection criteria before a seat is reserved. A cohort of 25 diabetes educators from the Health Insurance Organization and other university hospitals.
Every applicant is screened against three requirements.
